Londres, Costa Rica is 10 miles east of Quepos

Londres is located at 9°27'35.0"N 84°04'09.0"W , home to the London Bridge over Rio Naranjo. Rio Naranjo offers a refreshing place to relax in High Season, and thrills a minute white water rafting in the Green Season.

Typical Tico Town

Londres has a population of about 1500 people. It has several well stocked Mini Supers, a "soda", an elementary school. The High School was completed in 2018. There are also numerous churches, clinic and pulperias.

Community

The Central Park offers Seasonal and community events, and has new playground equipment. The soccer field has bleachers and is lighted. Local buses run 7 times daily to and from Quepos 364 days a year! (no service on Good Friday)

Per Trip Advisor, Manuel Antonio offers one of the Top 10 Beaches in the world. It is less than 15 miles from this property. Climate

Costa Rica is located south of 9 degrees N longitude. This offers a tropical climate and NO HURRICANES. Quepos is located on the central Pacific coast and it can get a bit warm and humid. Londres is higher than the highest point in Florida, all of 300 feet. Since Londres is not on the coast, and slightly higher than Quepos, it is cooler and greener. The lush tropical canopy at Finca Amanecer provides SHADE, thus it is 10 degrees cooler than any other property in Quepos or Londres.
